WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

Sons  In  Retirement (SIR) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation for retired men, devoted to the promotion of independence and dignity of retirement.

SIR's purpose is to assist men in renewing former friendships and provide opportunities to make new friends through association with other retirees.

The only requirement for membership is that a man be retired and sponsored by an active member.

Membership shall be open to men retired from fulltime gainful occupation, regardless of age, race, color or religion.

MONTHLY LUNCHEON

Branch 91 meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at the South San Francisco Elk's Lodge.

MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Branch #91 in the North Peninsula area has 200 members.
Some of the benefits of joining our SIR's organization:

1. No initial or annual membership fees.

2. Excellent monthly luncheon meetings, including Top-Quality speakers, for only $13.

3. Weekly (pre-scheduled) golf and bowling throughout the year.  Also, additional out-of-area tournaments.

4. Special events including Christmas luncheon (with spouses), picnics, local tours, professional sports, etc.

5. Information for domestic and international travel.

6. Special interest groups for those interested in computers, card games, etc.

Basically, we offer you a chance to HAVE FUN with a FUN-LOVING GROUP of retirees.
